FOR COOKING WITH GRANDPA EDDIE GOURMET
JERK SAUCE.
Jerking is a traditional Jamaican style
of Bar-B-Q'ing.
Rub Grandpa Eddie's Jamaican Jerk Sauce
sparingly into Meats, Poultry, Seafood,
Fish, Lobster and shrimps. Let it marinate
overnight for best result, then grill,
barbecue, roast or bake slowly.
THE RECIPE
Rub 1-1/2 tablespoons of Grandpa eddie's
Gourmet Jerk Sauce into each pound of
meat, poultry or seafood [2 or more tablespoons
for very spicy]
Marinate for 1 to 3 hours prior to cooking
[marinate overnight for more intense flavor]
Cook on barbecue grill at medium temperature,
baste often until done.
THE ALTERNATIVE
Place seasoned meat, poultry or seafood
on oven grill, baste often to prevent
burn and dry out until done. Or bake in
oven at 250 to 300 degrees fahrenheit
until fully cooked.
Jerking is a slow cooking process which
allows Grandpa Eddie's perfect blend of
herbs and spices to permeate the meats,
poultry, seafood and vegetables.
